How it is calculated

Frequently asked questions

Why only US data and central banks?

Because DESK only shows dates here that come from official schedules and may be used freely. The US agencies publish their schedules in the public domain.

When are the figures known?

With the release at the stated time. DESK shows the actual values in the app’s economic calendar as soon as the agency publishes them.

Can dates change?

Yes, rarely – for example during a US government shutdown. The agency’s schedule is always what counts.
